The Problem:
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of French Immersion in Calgary, AfroHause was invited to speak to a lively crowd of elementary school students on the history of French-African dance.
My task was to design a presentation, en français, that could educate and entertain. Essentially, keeping a room full of children engaged.
The Process:
I focused on human-centred storytelling, using emotional cues, pop culture references, and interactive moments. Funny memes, embedded videos, and live dance demonstrations brought the presentation to life. I even created the music mix for the performance, tying together the visuals and movements in one cohesive scene.
Clarity and connection were at the heart of every design choice. Through Canva, I created slides that were visually playful but structured for flow. I layered in video editing and motion to boost energy and retention.
The Reviews Are In:
The children were hooked! They were laughing, dancing, and most importantly, PAYING ATTENTION. Staff called it “educational yet entertaining” and noted that it exceeded expectations. The client, AfroHause, said it looked professional and represented their brand beautifully.
DIVineity FASHION Pitch Presentation
Client: Divineity Fashion Inc.
Tools Used: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Doodly, Logic Pro
Role: Video Editor, Motion Designer, Voice Over Artist, Presentation Strategist

The Problem:
Divineity Fashion approached me with a challenge: their donor pitch lacked clarity and emotional resonance. Despite compelling content, potential supporters were walking away confused. The solution? Bring the pitch to life as a multimedia storytelling experience.
The Process:
I transformed the original pitch deck into a dynamic explainer video using voiceover narration, motion graphics, and light animation. My goal was to distill complex ideas into simple visuals that donors could absorb quickly and emotionally connect with. By adding this video to the email invite prior to the pitch meeting, we flipped the narrative: donors came in ready, not hesitant.
As a business development manager, I understand that great pitches aren’t just persuasive. They’re clear, confident, and emotionally intuitive.
The Reviews Are In:
The client shared that donor engagement improved significantly. “People finally understand what we were trying to do.” The video became a reusable asset for other funding conversations and was a pivotal shift in how the organization presented itself. Storytelling met strategy, and as a result, wallets opened.
